Pedro Marquez, an alumnus of Seattle Central College, is working to complete his bachelor's degree at the University of Washington after overcoming various obstacles in the beginning of his academic career.
An oil well is illuminated by the Terek fire north of Worland, Wyo. on Monday, July 9, 2018. The fire, originally two fires caused by lighting strikes, burned in sagebrush and grass. The two blazes eventually joined and grew to 56 square miles.
